Psychological Trauma Service (PTS)
This service offers a holistic, flexible, and empowering space for individuals and their support networks to understand and pursue recovery.
Role Responsibilities
You will provide peer support to carers and families of clients receiving services from AMAH. Collaborate with the team to understand and support family needs during treatment planning.
Candidate Requirements
* Lived experience supporting someone with mental health challenges
* Formal qualifications are helpful but not mandatory: Certificate IV in Peer Work, Mental Health, or similar
* Minimum 2 years in a Carer Lived Experience role
* Australian working rights
* Current Victorian Driver's License
* Working with Children Check and willingness for background checks
