Our client, a leading organisation in the education sector, is seeking a proactive and skilled Level 2 FTS Support Technician to support the integration of school infrastructure with department-wide technology solutions. As part of a major ICT uplift program across Victorian schools, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth migrations with minimal disruption to school operations. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with technical leads, analysts, and school technicians to roll out and consolidate staff/student identities into the department’s centralised identity platform. Assist schools in the discovery and planning of technical migrations for devices and infrastructure. Ensure technical planning aligns with department standards and document any exceptions with comprehensive “as-built” documentation. Resolve incidents related to identity, device, and infrastructure migration from school-managed environments to the central platform. Provide hypercare support and hands-on assistance to School Technicians post-migration. Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support to staff and students following migration. Record and manage incidents, changes, and problems using ServiceNow. Investigate, analyse, and document root causes of incidents, escalating to Level 3 engineers where necessary. Participate in FTS integration activities as directed by the Team Lead. Ensure compliance with Information Security best practices and regulatory requirements throughout all migration activities. Skills & Experience Required: 2-3 years of experience in infrastructure/platform support (Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Print/File servers). Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (application packaging, AutoPilot, device management). Proven Level 2 technical support capabilities. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Clear and confident communication skills (written and verbal). Experience working in complex, customer-facing environments with a focus on service delivery. Ability to streamline workflows and automate processes to increase efficiency.
