to join our highly reputable clients dynamic team, and help ensure the highest standards across asphalt delivery and civil works.
You do not need to have a background in Quality Assurance as training will be provided, on the job.
Road Maintenance Labourer / QA – Asphalt Projects
?? Location: Townsville
?? Industry: Civil Construction / Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
Monitor asphalt delivery (tipping trucks) and accurately record volumes, timings, and material checks.
Complete all required on-site documentation including quality records, test logs, and compliance paperwork.
Verify materials, processes, and workmanship against project and client specifications.
Assist in tracking production, delivery, and lay down performance for reporting.
Provide hands-on support with general labouring tasks when required.
Skills & Requirements
Training will be provided on the job.
Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
Physically capable of performing manual labour when needed.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with site paperwork systems.
Must be good at estimating loads of Road Base materials; Sand, Gravel, Asphalt, Aggregate.
Previous experience in asphalt, civil construction, or quality assurance is advantageous but not essential.
