Junior Bookkeeper / Accounts Clerk
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Bookkeeper to support our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring accounting professionals to gain hands-on experience in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support with accounts payable and receivable processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Reconcile corporate credit card expenses and staff claims, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
* Assist with payroll processing, superannuation, and employee reimbursements, adhering to relevant regulations.
* Maintain and update leave records and staff entitlements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
* Support the management of trust accounting, upholding legal standards and best practices.
* Generate financial reports via internal systems, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
* Evaluate and ensure compliance with financial, legal, and tax regulations, minimizing risk.
Candidate Requirements:
* Current or recent completion of a qualification in Certificate III in Accounts Administration or Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and Word.
* Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work accurately under pressure.
* Proactive and eager to learn, develop professionally, and take on new challenges.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
