Job Description
This role supports the Directors of Prevocational Education and Training in delivering high-quality education and training for junior doctors, including interns and residents. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering junior medical officer wellbeing in line with the NSW Health JMO Wellbeing and Support Plan, while ensuring trainees are equipped to deliver safe and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage payroll and rostering functions, maintaining HealthRoster, and liaising with stakeholders such as HETI, the Medical Board of Australia, and medical colleges.
* Build strong relationships and provide reliable administrative support to create a positive and supportive training environment for junior medical staff.
* Assist the Directors of Prevocational Education and Training in the development, coordination, and evaluation of education for Network 2/Prevocational Trainees (interns & PGY2 medical officers).
The MESO – Junior Medical Staff will work closely with the JMO Manager to provide administrative support and ensure prevocational trainees have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality and safe patient care.
