Job Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our independent store owners in optimising their sales.
You will be responsible for building strong relationships with store owners and helping them grow their revenue through targeted marketing initiatives, improved store standards, and the right product mix.
You will conduct in-depth assessments and implement tailored action plans for each store, working collaboratively with internal teams such as Merchandise, Marketing, Store Development and Distribution.
Your goal will be to drive operational excellence across the store network, promoting innovation, ranging, and sales opportunities into stores.
Additionally, you will be responsible for growing store retail and trade sales across your store network, benchmarking store performance on an ongoing basis, and supporting store development activity through store assessments and action plans.
Finally, you will build new business and collaborate closely with internal teams to drive operational excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven sales experience in growing a retail network;
* Hardware industry knowledge is a plus;
* The ability to analyse financial reports and implement effective action plans;
* A solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills;
* Flexibility to travel for up to a week at a time;
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport;
* Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
