Our client is delivering high‐end ISR capabilities to the ADF and is looking for an Electronics Technician based in Canberra, ACT. This key position supports a diverse range of technologies across Defence, Government and Commercial areas.
The client seeks candidates with experience in modern digital communications systems, including RADAR, SONAR, Combat Systems, and Battlespace Land Communication domains. Good interpersonal communication, stakeholder management skills, maturity and a can‐do attitude are essential.
The Role
* Act as an SME in your trade stream
* Act as a POC for internal and external stakeholders
* Identification, development, evaluation and recommendation of installation, maintenance and repair of RF equipment
* Test and repair to specified requirements
* Undertake reliability assessments
* Assist in learning and development, and act as a mentor for internal and external parties
* Provide subject‐matter expert advice
Experience Required
* CERT IV or III in Electronics or Electrical
* Experience in training and development is desirable
* Experience in maintenance and repair of RF technology
* Demonstrated ability to identify, resolve and manage security issues
* Experience in defence digital in‐service systems
* Must hold a current NV1 security clearance
