Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, providing direct care and assistance with daily activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients who require a high level of care, behavior management, and physical assistance. You will be responsible for implementing strategies to prevent and manage difficult behaviors, using de-escalation techniques, and managing challenging situations.
You will also assist with medication compliance, work collaboratively with treating teams and allied health professionals, and provide support and chaperoning outside the home environment.

Requirements
* Proven experience in providing direct support to complex needs clients
* Strong manual handling skills, including hoist and wheelchair use
* Practical knowledge working with individuals with behaviors of concern, physical, and mental disabilities
* Able to confidently report to management in case of any incidents or issues
