Graduate Hydraulics Designer – Building Engineering and Maritime (Brisbane)

Desired Skills & Experience
* Diploma of Hydraulic Services Design, Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services, Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree with an interest in hydraulics, or experience as a qualified plumber looking to move off the tools into design/consulting
* 0–3 years of experience
* Experience with Revit (desirable)
* Sound knowledge of basic computer software (MS Office, etc.)
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Ability to interpret plans, drawings and technical documentation
* Understanding of relevant Australian Standards, local authority requirements and QLD legislation (beneficial)
* Good communication and teamwork skills – and not afraid to ask questions

* Assist with hydraulic system design and documentation for commercial, health, transport and infrastructure projects
* Support Revit modelling and drafting tasks
* Learn to interpret plans, specifications and codes
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs
* Contribute to project delivery activities
* Develop strong foundations in design, modelling, drafting and compliance
* Gain exposure to projects ranging from small refurbishments to major infrastructure developments
