About the Role
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will maintain a variety of transmission systems and associated infrastructure to meet customer requirements and oversee a team of Broadcast Technicians who are responsible for the maintenance and performance of the AM, FM & Digital Radio and TV broadcast networks transmission systems and infrastructure to ensure service delivery targets and expectations are met and risk to services is minimised.
About You
* You will have fully competent Senior Broadcast Technician (BT)3 skills including Competent in-service restoration, Corrective Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Proof of Performance Testing and Effectively manages and supervises contractors.
* You must be part of the On-Call roster and be capable of completing on-call duties with no direction and Perform the function of technical lead when working with other technicians or contractors.
* You will have a high level of customer service skills, Effectively manages high impact faults and efficiently and effectively manages service restoration activities and Accurately completes all reporting associated with your work including the completion of Work Orders and fault tickets.
* You will Coach and develop other technicians and Undertake all activities in line with the BAI Communications Group WHS Policy and Reports all near misses, incidents according to the procedures, promptly and clearly with the required detail.
As a Team Leader, you will:
* Fully aware of all Service Integrity Unit Procedures and Electronics Technician with RF experience and a background in maintenance of transmission and control equipment.
* Possess a current Drivers Licence and Has sound interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with others and a proven ability to work as part of a team.
* Appropriate qualifications and skills in Broadcasting Systems, Defined expert knowledge and experience in specialised areas and Defined Leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* You will possess Project Management skills, Proven reporting and documentation skills and Proven coaching and mentoring and training ability.
* A medical check is a requirement of this role.
