About The Role

We are looking for a strategic and passionate leader to shape the future of volunteering at TSA. As our Senior Volunteer Experience Specialist, you will drive the growth, development, and retention of our volunteer workforce – ensuring every volunteer feels connected, supported, and empowered. This senior, strategic role leads the design and delivery of national volunteer strategies aligned to TSA's mission and People & Culture priorities. As a key contributor, you will champion the volunteer voice, build strong internal and external partnerships, and uplift capability across our organisation. The role is permanent, full time and location is flexible to successful applicant either Redfern or Blackburn.

What You Will Do

* Lead and implement TSA's Volunteer Strategy, in collaboration with key stakeholders, to strengthen our mission and deliver an exceptional, inclusive volunteer experience.
* Design and deliver volunteer capability initiatives that uplift both our people and programs.
* Drive volunteer attraction, development, recognition and retention initiatives across TSA.
* Conduct research and workforce planning in partnership with People & Culture leaders to assess current volunteer needs, identify future opportunities, and ensure the volunteer model supports mission and commercial outcomes.
* Lead volunteer workforce insights, reporting, and continuous improvement, using data to inform future solutions.
* Champion a strong Volunteer Value Proposition and foster a culture of belonging for our volunteer workforce.

About You

You are a purpose‐driven leader with expertise in volunteering at scale, workforce planning, strategic development, and engagement. You are confident partnering with senior stakeholders and volunteers, bring strong influencing capability, and are comfortable leading through change with empathy and purpose.

Key Capabilities

* A relevant degree in HR, Business or related discipline (postgraduate qualifications desirable).
* Extensive experience in application of contemporary workforce strategies, including volunteering, workforce planning, leadership and organisational change.
* Demonstrated experience leading large‐scale, organisation‐wide programs and initiatives.
* Strong relationship‐building and influencing skills, with the ability to coach, advise and partner with senior leaders.
