Provide safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with clients, their families, and other health professionals, supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, clinical educators, clinical nurse consultants, and allied health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
St Marys Community Health Centre and Tasmania's North-East:
St Marys is nestled in the Fingal Valley in Tasmania's North-East, approximately 90 minutes' drive from Launceston, and just 10 minutes from the beaches of the East Coast. It is close to National Parks and mountain bike trails.
St Marys Community Health Centre has an emergency room and 8 inpatient beds. It offers emergency, sub-acute, and palliative care, along with community and outpatient services including nursing, physiotherapy, social work, child health, and others. The Tasmanian Lymphedema Centre is also based here, and medical services are provided in conjunction with a co-located GP practice operated by Ochre Health.

The Role:
The Community Nurse provides safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with clients, families, and health professionals, supported by the Nurse Unit Manager and other clinical staff to achieve patient outcomes.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, part-time, day worker position, up to 40 hours per fortnight, starting from 26 May 2025. Hours are negotiable.
Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata), with an additional 11.5% superannuation contribution.
* Salary range in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Additional allowances may include:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification.
Salary Packaging:
Access to salary packaging benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 for meal entertainment annually, plus other benefits if eligible.

* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
