Overview
Salary: AUD33 - AUD39 per hour
This is a great opportunity to join as a Freight Handler in the air freight industry. You will be joining a fantastic team, working in a multi‑purpose warehouse workplace based at Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport. We are looking for multiple Freight Handlers with availability across either Day (06:00–13:00) or Afternoon (15:00–22:00) shifts. This is a casual role offering 25–38+ hours weekly.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight
- Operate forklifts, tugs and equipment (where required/licensed)
- Operate communication aids
- Use computer equipment, including the freight warehousing system
What you need
- Previous experience in a physical warehouse environment
- Be willing to obtain ASIC clearance (we can guide you through this process)
- Experience in a manual handling or physical role, within a busy environment
- Ability to repetitively lift items at 25 kg+
- Provide 100 points of physical ID
- LF Forklift – desirable however not required
