Moorundi Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service Ltd is a proud cultural organisation. It provides culturally safe, holistic health and wellbeing services across the Murraylands and Fleurieu regions, covering Ngarrindjeri, Ngarkat and Peramangk country.

With the pending retirement of our long‐serving and highly successful Chief Executive Officer, Moorundi is seeking an exceptional leader to guide the organisation into its next chapter and to continue strengthening our vision for a healthy and empowered community.
The Role
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO provides strategic, cultural, operational and financial leadership to ensure Moorundi ACCHS continues to deliver high quality, culturally grounded services that strengthen the health and wellbeing of our people.
* Provide strategic, cultural and operational leadership
* Strengthen governance, compliance and organisational performance
* Lead a high performing executive team and workforce
* Maintain transparent, "no surprises" communication with the Board
* Build strong relationships with community, Elders, stakeholders and partners
* Maintain ongoing financial sustainability and contractual accountability
* Promote cultural safety, staff wellbeing and community‐focused decision making
About You
You are a strategic, culturally aware, community focused leader with the capability to guide a complex organisation delivering essential health and wellbeing services and will bring to the role:
* Executive leadership experience in health, community services, community controlled or a NFP organisation
* Strong governance background and experience working with community boards
* Deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and community controlled principles
* Proven ability to lead teams, manage compliance and risk and to deliver organisational outcomes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability
