Role Overview
What you'll need
* Senior React experience across complex, data-heavy enterprise applications such as operational tools, workflow systems and integration platforms
* Strong engineering capability including component libraries, state management, scalable UI architecture and implementation of complex operational interfaces
* Strong integration engineering capability including API design, authentication flows, rate limiting, retries, webhook orchestration and third-party platform integration
* Backend capability across serverless functions, JWT-based authentication and relational database architecture such as Postgres
* Strong data modelling, schema refactoring and scalability capability, including the ability to distinguish accidental versus essential complexity within large operational systems
* Performance optimisation capability across WASM, web workers, caching, virtualisation and large-file handling
* Capability across 3D/WebGL rendering environments such as three.js or equivalent, ideally within venue visualisation, content preview or broadcast graphics environments
* Experience with content ingest pipelines, asset management, watch-folder workflows and stadium or venue content delivery systems
* Comfortable operating alongside a strong product lead and translating scopes, wireframes, Figma flows and stakeholder requirements into technical implementation
* Confidence providing engineering feedback and pushback where required while respecting product and governance direction
* Experience inheriting, stabilising and evolving large, fast-built codebases without disrupting operational delivery
* Comfortable operating within evolving requirements, shifting priorities and high operational complexity
* Experience integrating operational and data platforms through APIs and webhook orchestration
* Background in broadcast graphics, content management and playout workflows & FFMpeg.
* Experience with broadcast or live-event playout systems
Nice to have
* Interest or experience in 3D engine tooling such as Unreal, Unity, Blender or Cinema 4D, including integration and visualisation workflows within web-based products and platform.
* Experience with relational platforms such as Airtable, Coda or Notion
* Experience transitioning MVP or POC systems into scalable production-ready platforms
* Work at Australia's most prestigious stadiums.
* Behind-the-scenes access to AFL, Cricket, concerts and global touring acts
* Exposure to cutting edge in-stadium and broadcast technology
* Collaborate with industry-leading teams in creative, production, technology and events.
