Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our organization. This role focuses on new business opportunities and oversees all facets of business development across both new and existing accounts and markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify growth opportunities and ensure the company is considered for proposals.
* Contribute to the development of effective winning strategies.
* Seek out new customers and explore emerging sectors to drive business expansion.
* Coordinate and develop strategic plans with each operational business group to support future business growth and effective profitable delivery.
Business Strategy:
* Develop strategies and plans for new projects, including tracking potential opportunities, evaluation, and prioritization of business growth opportunities.
* Prepare and conduct presentations with prospective customers and stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major clients to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships.
* Actively participate in industry workshops, conferences, and forums.
Client Relations:
* Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with new and existing clients to promote brand awareness and business relationships.
* Create and implement strategies for clients based on current and anticipated customer requirements.
* Develop and maintain partnerships with clients.
* Maintain open and initiative-taking communications with clients.
Governance:
* Ensure business tender documents and negotiations protect company interests.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of all aspects of our business development and opportunity tracking systems.
* Manage customer expectations around commercial frameworks.
