The Role
This exciting role involves managing all aspects of our branch in Esperance.
You will be responsible for leading your team to maintain and grow our client base by providing expert advice and recommendation on a wide range of farm inputs including fertiliser, seed, ag chem, animal health and general merchandise.
This is a senior role that requires an experienced and ambitious self-starter with exceptional work ethic and a desire to be successful. This position presents the opportunity to be mentored by a range of senior people and provides the opportunity to develop your career into the long term.
As the Retail Branch Manager, your role will encompass:
* Having a positive working relationship with your team, providing mentorship and coaching to lead them to success.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Identifying new opportunities that drive growth
* Ensuring your branch is committed to our strong safety culture
* Participating in marketing initiatives and promotional events
To be successful in this role you will:
* Be self-motivated and driven to implement improvements by delivering on commitments and actively pursuing growth opportunities
* Have a proven track record in sales management with a deep understanding of the agricultural industry, consistently seeking innovative ways to improve
* Be dedicated to creating real value and deepening engagement, fostering solid long‑term relationships with clients and the community
* Have experience in retail management and leading high-performing teams
* Be a team player who is well‑organised, makes positive contributions to the team, and possesses excellent communication skills
Skills and experience
* Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness or related discipline is an advantage
* 3-5 years agribusiness management or senior operational experience
* Strong expertise in financial management and planning
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Farm inputs product knowledge preferred
* Strong attention to detail with a natural concern for quality and standards and experience in workplace health and safety
* Strong drive to accomplish results, setting goals and executing to deadlines
* An energetic and positive spirit, taking pride in achievements, and straightforwardness in dealing with others in a direct and constructive manner
* Be highly committed to inventory and asset integrity, and lead a strong branch culture in this area from your leadership position
