Kooweerup Regional Health Service (KRHS) is a public hospital located approximately 1 hours' drive south east of Melbourne in the rural area of Cardinia Shire.
KRHS provides a range of services including Acute Medical, Residential Aged Care, Community Health, Allied health and Early Parenting.
KRHS, together with Alfred Health, Peninsular Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health intend to merge to form Bayside Health from 1 January All roles are intended to transfer to the new entity from this date.

As an Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible for:
* Providing excellent, person-centred consumer care in relation to their nursing needs (i.e. management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications)
* Act as a role model for professional clinical care, upholding the standards and values of KRHS
* Participate in Clinical incident reviews
* Maintaining documentation; completing consumer assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies and procedures and meeting accreditation standards
* Overseeing the day to day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve the best consumer outcomes
* Applying sound decision making and problem solving skills to make effect use of all resources
* Undertake clinical monitoring of residents and escalate changes as required
Interested applicants will ideally possess the following skills:
* Previous experience in aged care setting;
* Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
* High quality clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
* Enthusiastic, flexible, proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Applicants will require prior to commencement:
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Current Police Check (no older than 12 months) and Working with Children Check.

Wages:
All nursing staff are paid under the Nurses and Midwives Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreement, and will be in line with qualifications and experience, ranging from $33.00 to $39.00 per hour base rate (before casual loading where applicable). Public Health Sector salary packaging is available, together with shift and casual penalties where applicable for this role.
