We are now seeking a Full Time Chartered Accountant to join our growing Adelaide office.
What You'll do:
Work with our dynamic team to provide Taxation and Business Advisory services to our clients. Including, but not limited to:
Accounting & Tax
* Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns
* Advising clients on tax implications of business decisions, structuring and strategic planning
* Providing advice on Income Tax, CGT, FBT & GST
* Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
* Managing and reviewing work prepared by junior staff
* Developing tax planning and compliance strategies
* Managing lodgement lists to ensure all ATO deadlines are met
Business Advisory
* Preparation of interim and management reports, including analysis of financial statements to identify trends and improvement opportunities
* Preparing cash flow forecasts and profit budgets
* Providing advice and support on:
* Business purchases, sales and start-ups
* Succession planning
* Asset protection strategies
* Estate planning and administration
Client Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
* Analyse financial data and provide insights to support client and internal decision-making
* Monitor and report on financial performance metrics
* Liaise with external stakeholders such as Finance Brokers, Lawyers and regulatory bodies on behalf of the client

What We're Looking For:
* Bachelor of Commerce / Finance / Accounting or similar
* Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification (or working towards)
* 4+ years' experience in Professional Practice Accounting
* MS Office – intermediate Excel
* Experience with Accounting software such as Xero / FYI, MYOB, QuickBooks, Reckon
* Experience with advisory software such as Spotlight Reporting & Castaway Budgeting
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong technical knowledge and compliance capabilities
