About the Role: As a Site Manager and Electrical Team Leader with Solarig, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our solar farm. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, safety-focused environment, with excellent career growth potential in the rapidly expanding solar industry.
Location: Darlington Point Region Contract duration: 1 or 2 years (option to be permanent for the right person) Schedule: Monday to Friday (38 hours per week) Must participate on On-call roster Work Vehicle & Tools provided Site Manager: Key Responsibilities (between others responsibilities and tasks) Coordination of all O&M staff & work activities Supervision of the operation of the Plant & site personnel Perform all reasonable requests as directed by management Update & Utilisation of CMMS including issue/schedule work requests Review work Permits and HSE compliances Shutdown and re energisation of the power stations and substation (HV switching) Perform any intervention and/or corrective action Managing the preparation and review of project risk assessments and implementing control measures and continuous improvement initiatives, in conjunction with the ROM and HSE Team Liaise with the suppliers (open tickets and warranty claims as required) The O&M Site Manager will be available to work in shifts and to hold the emergency phone during nominated weekdays, weekends and public holidays to cover the on-call service. Any reasonably practicable requests made by the management to carry out tasks. Supervision of the operation of the plant work requests completion and reporting Comply and adhere to all work, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures Utilize CMMS and manage, complete work orders Participate On-call roster Electrical Team Leader: Key Responsibilities (between others responsibilities and tasks) Perform any electrical and communications intervention and/or corrective action and advance preventive activities Supervision, planning and coordination of the maintenance tasks Supervision of the operation of the plant work requests completion and reporting Comply and adhere to all work, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures Coordination of all O&M staff & work activities Environmental works report any incident Responsible for carrying out electrical and communication works Cleaning and inspection of the asset and infrastructures Utilize CMMS and manage, complete work orders Responsible for the scheduled maintenance Participate On-call roster What We're Looking For: We're seeking a reliable, safety-focused Electrical Tradesperson who can take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team. You should have:
Unrestricted Class Electrical License (NSW) (Required) High Voltage Switching Qualification (High desirable) Work safely in the construction industry Card (Required) Low Voltage Rescue Training CPR Training A valid Driver's License Additionally, you must be:
