22.8HRS PER WEEK (WORKING TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY)
Ageing with Grace (AwG) is seeking a dedicated Aged Care Programs Coordinator to deliver high-quality, compliant and outcomes-focused aged care programming within our region.
This role is home-office based but not home-bound. You will be actively engaged in the community - visiting aged care services, meeting volunteers and supporting older people in their homes.
The Aged Care Programs Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination and delivery of funded aged care programs, currently the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS).
The role has a strong focus on:
* Meeting program targets and KPIs
* Maintaining full compliance with funding agreements and legislation
* Accurate reporting and data management
* Volunteer recruitment, screening and support
* Timely referral management and participant matching
* Professional stakeholder engagement
This position requires honesty, sound judgement and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
What You'll Be Doing
* Recruiting, onboarding and supporting volunteers
* Managing referrals and ensuring timely contact and appropriate matching
* Monitoring program numbers against funding targets
* Maintaining accurate and audit-ready records
* Submitting reports within required timeframes
* Building strong relationships with aged care providers and community stakeholders
* Representing AwG in a professional and ethical manner
About You
You are:
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable working independently from a home office
* Confident managing compliance, reporting and deadlines
* Experienced in volunteer coordination or community services
* Minimum 1+ years of experience in volunteer coordination or community services is required
* Professional, reliable and accountable
* Compassionate and respectful when working with older people and diverse communities
* Australian citizen or permanent resident
You will also have:
* Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, email, databases)
* Advanced database management experience for comprehensive record keeping and reporting
* A current driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
* Willingness to complete and maintain a National Police Check
* Ability to travel within the allocated region
* Experience in volunteer management, community services and/or aged care highly regarded.
