About the Role
As the Retail Manager, you will be guiding a small team of dedicated individuals focused on selling a range of irrigation, pump and plumbing products. Your day will consist of staff mentorship and guidance, front counter sales, supplier interaction, online sales management, quotation preparation and retail presentation.

Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate retail staff to deliver exceptional service and hit performance targets.
* Customer Excellence: Lead by example with high-level customer service and proactive follow-up to secure and finalize sales.
* Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for add-on sales and ensure the team is focused on meeting customer needs.
* Inventory Management: Oversee stock control, including ordering, receiving, and managing stock turns to ensure we have the right products when the customer needs them.
* Merchandising: Maintain a professional, high-impact showroom through strategic merchandising and display management.
* Operational Standards: Ensure the showroom is safe, organised, and reflects the premium product range.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Industry Experience: Previous experience in a retail or trade environment specifically related to Pumping, Irrigation, Filtration, Plumbing, or Electrical sectors.
* Management: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a retail team.
* Sales Focus: A proven track record of driving retail sales and following up leads.
* Organisational Flair: Strong skills in stock control and merchandising.
* Positive Attitude: A proactive, "can-do" approach and a commitment to building a positive team culture.
