The Role
The Finance Business Partner Biscuits will work across manufacturing, supply chain and sales. Providing financial insights to support decision-making by sharing regular, relevant and accurate financial information to stakeholders, providing value-adding analysis, commentary and insight, and recommending solutions to support continuous improvement.
The role is also responsible for financial accounting support including regular calendar activities of reporting and budgets, key problem solver for all matters regarding SAP set-up and maintenance and Masterdata accuracy. Additionally, this role drives best practice initiatives regarding process and control improvements, building financial literacy across business and developing and embedding finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Strong understanding of manufacturing practices i.e BOM's, MUV, labour variances, Capex.
* Partner with site and business leaders to provide financial guidance and commercial insights.
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes for the Biscuits business unit.
* Analyse business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision‐making.
* Develop and present financial reports and business cases to key stakeholders.
* Drive cost improvement initiatives and support project evaluations.
* Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies.
* Capability to build models in Excel & Power BI. Automate recurring processes, focus on continuous improvement.
What You Bring
* CA/CPA/CIMA or relevant qualification (or working towards).
* 3+ years' experience in a similar finance, business partnering role (FMCG or manufacturing preferred).
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (SAP experience advantageous).
* Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
