We're a small, growing team of 12, looking for someone who can keep our finances sharp and support our Director with day-to-day admin across our two operating entities.
This is a unique opportunity to combine finance control with executive support in a fast-paced, creative business.

What you'll do
* Manage Xero: payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations
* Track project budgets and process supplier invoices, quotes, and POs
* Produce cashflow and analytical reports for the Director
* Support financial planning with clear, timely insights
* Manage the Director's diary, schedule consults, take and qualify new leads, and confirm appointments
* Chase and log supplier/subcontractor quotes, issue POs and tenders
* Keep project admin records accurate and organised

About you
* Strong finance/accounting background (CPA/CA valued but not essential)
* Confident with Xero and SME finance processes
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive
* Strong communication skills — comfortable dealing with suppliers, clients, and new enquiries
* Confident handling client calls and qualifying leads with professionalism
* Curious and adaptable — open to learning construction terminology
* Must be based in Canberra and able to work full-time in our Fyshwick office
