About The Role
Step into a role that shapes the future of planned surgery across Grampians Health. As Project Lead within the Patient Support Unit, you'll drive initiatives that streamline referral pathways, improve patient navigation and support statewide surgical reform. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, collaboration and meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do
Lead pathway redesign for planned surgery reformSpot improvement opportunities from GP referral to outpatient clinicsCoordinate initiatives that lift patient access and experienceBuild strong relationships with clinical and non‑clinical stakeholdersApply project methods to deliver clear, measurable outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Convert planned care priorities into projects and improvementsShape solutions through problem‑solve, analyse and recommend actionsKeep project artifacts, reports and risks updatedPartner with program leads to progress changeGuide stakeholders through change and adoptionSupport navigation across the planned care journey
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualification in Allied Health (AHPRA‑eligible) or surgical nursingProject capability across health service settingsSkill in process design and operational improvementConfident with data capture and reporting toolsStrong communicator who builds trust and influence
