Carpenter Position
The role involves delivering high-quality carpentry services that are vital to the ongoing success of the mining operation. The successful candidate will form an integral part of the facilities team and be responsible for performing surface carpentry and maintenance tasks across mine site buildings, village accommodation, and town housing.
* Performing surface carpentry and maintenance tasks
* Undertaking minor building and renovation works as required
* Conducting regular inspections of buildings and infrastructure to ensure safety and compliance
* Repairing and replacing building elements including locks, roofing, and concrete structures
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications, such as a QBCC Builder/Carpenter license and a manual driver's license. Additional certifications are highly regarded, and experience in remote or mining environments is preferred.
