Job Description:
As a key leader in driving strategic and operational management of retail operations, this role encompasses five channels: main onsite shop, exhibition shop, online shop, wholesale, and distribution.
The successful candidate will curate product ranges that celebrate the museum's collection and permanent/temporary exhibitions. They will work closely with stakeholders to ensure retail offerings are relevant, cohesive, and contribute to the museum's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing integrated retail operations plans to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and profitability across all channels.
* Managing business planning, budgets, reporting, staff development, procurement activities, risk registers, and contract administration to ensure compliance with public sector and museum frameworks.
* Preparing high-quality project documentation and collaborating across teams to innovate and deliver retail initiatives that drive visitation, increase revenue, and raise the profile of the organisation.
