Position Overview:
As the lead Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of cases. You will work closely with elderly individuals to develop tailored treatment plans that promote healthy feet and general wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and diagnose patients with foot and ankle disorders through physical examination and diagnostic imaging.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that may include footwear recommendations, orthotic fittings, wound care, and surgical interventions.
* Provide patient education on proper foot care, prevention of conditions, and maintenance of overall foot health.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
* Stay current with advancements in podiatry and participate in continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine or Bachelor of Podiatry.
* 1 year experience as a Podiatrist
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge of podiatric medicine.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
