Key duties and responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Program Executive, set the prioritisation required to inform and implement delivery of the (TSP). Work collaboratively with Project Leads, Project Managers and Schedulers to build and implement a Performance Measurement Baseline with periodic reporting. Work collaboratively with Project Leads and Project Managers to ensure timely and orderly implementation of new capability and disengagement of current services in accordance with the Program Schedule. Work collaboratively with the Programme Management Office to support the management of project deliverables and compliance with organisational expectations. Identify and manage project interdependencies and wider agency dependencies, which may include development of a dependencies management plan. Prepare a range of written material as required, including various reports, executive papers, Senate Estimates Submissions, Ministerial and Agency briefs. Form, lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on maximising their contribution to program and project delivery through a shared vision. Develop staff capability through coaching, mentoring and succession planning to increase performance, engagement and retention. Build and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, engaging in frequent liaison and negotiation activities. Strong cybersecurity background is required to plan and deliver cyber deliverables for a significant and sensitive program of work. Experience delivering telecommunications uplift projects with a cyber lens. Experience managing large, multi-year programs of work for major organisations. Demonstrated commercial aptitude is required to negotiate deliverables and expectations with multiple vendors. Highly developed communication skills and experience communicating with influence across all levels of the APS to achieve a desired outcome. Ability to develop integrated delivery documents aligned to business, technology and vendor project schedules. Ability to schedule and facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholder groups at various levels across the APS and private enterprise.
