About the Role
In this pivotal quality leadership role, you will handle and maintain supplier-related standards across raw materials, packaging and critical service providers. You will play a key role in supplier evaluation, onboarding and performance monitoring — ensuring our partners align to Diageo's high expectations for quality, safety and risk management.
Your work safeguards consumers, strengthens partnerships, and enables continuous improvement across the supply network.
What You'll Do
You will serve as the expert voice on supplier quality — balancing compliance with collaboration and improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Conduct regular quality reviews with high-risk suppliers
Lead onboarding for new suppliers, materials and co-manufactuer to minimise quality & safety risks
Raise supplier non-conformances and drive corrective action s
Plan, execute & follow-up internal and supplier audits Implement systems to track non-conformance trends & report against critical metricss
Conduct vulnerability risk assessments (VACCP) and apply control strategies
Maintain clear, accurate and auditable supplier documentation
Support M&A integration and raw material shelf-life extensions where required
What You Bring
We're looking for someone with curiosity, confidence and a strong technical foundation, someone who believes that good isn't good enough.
Tertiary degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, or a related field, with equivalent experience also considered
Quality auditing qualification (Lead Auditor preferred)
5+ years in FMCG food, beverage or pharmaceutical quality
Strong understanding of risk assessment and control frameworks
Continuous improvement approach with structured problem solving skills
