A leading and rapidly expanding poultry production business is seeking an experienced Broiler Breeder Operations Manager to provide leadership, coaching and operational support across a network of breeder farms in Regional Victoria. THE OPPORTUNITY Based in the Bendigo VIC region, this key leadership role will work closely with Farm Managers and site teams across multiple breeder farms to optimise flock performance, improve operational outcomes and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will play an important role in supporting farm teams, driving consistency across operations and helping the business achieve its production and welfare objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, mentor and support Farm Managers across multiple breeder sites Monitor flock performance including weights, uniformity, mortality and egg production; Analyse production data and implement performance improvement strategies; Ensure high standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, safety and quality assurance; Assist with labour planning, operational efficiency and cost management; Collaborate with technical specialists, veterinarians and suppliers; Drive continuous improvement initiatives across breeder operations. THE REQUIREMENTS Significant experience managing broiler breeder operations Strong leadership and people management capability The ability to coach, mentor and develop farm teams Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Strong communication and relationship-building ability A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach Current driver’s licence LOCATION AND REMUNERATION Bendigo Region, Victoria.
