Are you a passionate and hands-on chef ready to lead from the front? Hotel Commonwealth in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Head Chef to take charge of our fast-paced, pub-style kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a kitchen team in a high-volume pub or bistro workplace
- Deliver consistent quality food in a busy, fast-paced setting
- Drive menus, specials, and kitchen standards with autonomy
- Manage stock control, ordering, rostering, and food cost
- Ensure excellent knowledge of pub classics, seasonal specials, and up-to-date Australian cuisine
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a high-volume pub or bistro
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Ability to deliver consistent quality in a busy setting
