MACA Mining are seeking an experienced Leading Hand HD Fitter on a 2/1 roster to join our maintenance team at our Karlawinda project. The Karlawinda Gold Project is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, 65km south‐east of Newman. We're seeking someone with strong leadership capability, hands‐on expertise, and solid experience in mining operations. Some of our equipment on this project includes Komatsu 1500 Dump Trucks, D10 Dozer, 16M Grader, Hitachi EX3600 and Liebherr 9200 & 9300 excavators.
To be successful in this role, you will require
* HR drivers' licence is preferable
* Relevant HD Fitter trade
* Previous mine site experience as a Leading Hand HD Fitter
* Experience in heavy mobile mining equipment – Komatsu, CAT etc
* Ability to lead the team
* Excellent communication skills.
* Highly motivated to work and guide the team
* Good knowledge and ability to follow Work Health & Safety procedures and policies.
