Key Responsibilities

Strategic Enterprise:

Own the full sales cycle for corporate legal departments and mid-to-large law firms (30–500 seats), from initial prospecting through contract negotiation and close. Average deal size: $50K–$500K+ ACV.

Executive Engagement:

Build relationships with General Counsels, Managing Partners, Legal Operations leaders, and C-suite stakeholders. Navigate complex procurement processes and multi-level approval structures.

Consultative Selling:

Conduct discovery to understand organisational pain points, workflow inefficiencies, and strategic priorities. Position our AI platform as a transformative solution that delivers ROI and competitive advantage.

Custom Solution Presentations:

Deliver compelling, executive-level demonstrations tailored to corporate buyers. Articulate business value, integration requirements, and implementation roadmaps for enterprise deployments.

Pipeline Management:

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities. Leverage our CRM to forecast accurately and provide visibility into deal progression, timing, and risk factors.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with our CEO, implementation team, and product leadership to ensure seamless handoffs and successful enterprise deployments. Act as the voice of corporate customers to influence the product roadmap.

Market Intelligence:

Stay current on trends in corporate legal operations, the competitive landscape, and procurement dynamics within the legal tech space.

Who We're Looking For

Legal Practice Experience:

8+ years as a practising lawyer, ideally with experience in corporate, commercial, or litigation practice. You understand the pressures, the workflows, and the business of law from the inside.

Ready for Change:

You're looking for a new chapter—one where your legal expertise opens doors rather than ties you to a desk reviewing documents at midnight.

Natural Relationship Builder:

You've always been good with clients and colleagues. People trust you. You can hold your own in a room with senior partners and in-house counsel.

Curiosity About Technology:

You don't need to be technical, but you're genuinely interested in how AI is reshaping the legal industry. You see the potential and want to be part of it.

Commercial Mindset:

Whether through business development, client management, or practice growth, you've demonstrated an ability to think commercially and drive results.

Executive Presence:

You're comfortable presenting to General Counsels, Managing Partners, and C-suite executives. Professional demeanour with strong business acumen comes naturally to you.

Ideal Candidate Profile

* Has practised in a corporate legal department or mid-to-large law firm
* Understands the nuances of legal workflow, matter management, and document-intensive processes
* Has existing relationships within the Australian/NZ legal community
* Thrives in a dynamic environment and brings entrepreneurial energy
* Self-motivated with the discipline to work independently in a remote setting
* Willing to travel 20–30% for client meetings, industry events, and quarterly team gatherings

Note:

Formal sales experience is welcomed but not required because this is not traditional sales. This is consulting to a pain point and presenting a solution. If you've got the legal background, the relationship skills, and the drive, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Working Conditions

This is a remote role with flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand. Regular travel is expected for client meetings, prospect engagements, industry conferences, and quarterly team gatherings across ANZ.

This role begins as a contract-to-hire position with conversion to permanent employee status after a successful 3–6 month evaluation period.

Compensation & Benefits

* Base Salary:

$140,000 AUD
- On-Target Earnings (OTE):

$230,000 AUD (uncapped commission structure)
- Accelerators:

Earn above-quota achievement with uncapped upside potential

Clear path to Senior Account Executive, Enterprise Sales Lead, or other leadership roles as we scale
