**Job description**:
Our client, a Federal Government Agency, is looking for an
**APS6 Project Officer **to join their team in Brisbane to support the digital solutions division, which is responsible for national digital health architecture, conformance, data, design, products, standards and for supporting the user design principles that underpin all of the Agency's products and services.
The primary purpose of this position is to support project management activities and coordinate the delivery of actions and projects for the Agency's Interoperability Plan.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting the coordination of actions and projects outlined in the Interoperability Plan's priority areas and other digital health-related initiatives
- Collaborating and engaging with stakeholders at a high level, both internal and external to the Agency, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure the smooth delivery of project milestones
- Contributing to the development of strategic plans, discussion papers, and initiatives related to digital health and interoperability
- Assisting with the preparation of progress reports and updates to the Director Interoperability, and other key stakeholders as required
- Promoting a collaborative and positive working environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and knowledge sharing
- Assisting with the management of Agency procurement, contracts, and finance requirements
To be considered for this role you will be highly organised with sound knowledge of digital health transformation projects as well as the flexibility to work on multiple projects and priorities at once, and to pivot between these. You will also have demonstrated experience in supporting digital health projects, creating, and managing integrated project schedules that align dependencies and deliverables, track progress, and minimise project risk. High-level stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to understand, negotiate, and resolve complex, difficult, and/or sensitive issues are key to your success. Strong written and oral communication skills to assist in the preparation of ministerial briefs, agendas, papers, and reports are essential.
Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility for the role as is the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance or higher, if requested by the Agency.
