About the RoleThe Supervisor Production is responsible for providing direct supervision to the crew and effectively coordinating activities to ensure Production is undertaken in accordance with plan and schedule.
The role is also responsible for establishing work methods to meet deadlines and coordinate work with other operations departments.

We are rapidly progressing the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project (Mardie Operation), a tier 1 solar evaporation project that will supply high-purity industrial salt and sulphate of potash (SOP) for more than 60 years.

This role involves conducting daily inspections of work areas, supporting problem-solving activities, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
You will be responsible for managing contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects, monitoring work scheduling, and overseeing plant activities.A key focus will be ensuring that Operators perform all required tasks on time, addressing concerns as they arise, and verifying that each team member has the necessary technical knowledge and competency for their assigned area.
Additionally, you will be responsible for organising people and processes to meet maintenance targets, tracking performance against these targets, and providing regular feedback.About YouThe successful candidate will hold:5+ years proven experience preferably within the mining industry, Salt or Potash experience is highly desirable.Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.Strong communication (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and planning skills with high levels of attention to detail.Well-developed negotiation and problem-solving skills.Strong focus on continuous improvement.First Aid HLTAID003 or other NRT (mandatory)Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & SharePoint).
