Ed Tech Software Consultant (Synergetic)
We are currently looking for a motivated, career and success focused consultant to join our Professional Services Team.
The purpose of this role is to help schools learn how to use software applications. Provide instructions and guidance to individuals or group settings in the use of the software and demonstrate how to use the applications to achieve desired outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training to our clients on how to use our various software products. You will be responsible for providing technical advice of product configuration and setup, onboarding new clients, provide solutions to software issues. Conducting virtual consulting and training sessions via zoom.
The successful applicant must have excellent communication and instructional skills both written and verbal, understand the importance of customer service, and be comfortable working with a variety of software applications.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide technical consulting advice whilst maintaining records of progress through file notes
* Ability to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the consulting, training or implementation process
* Develop training materials and presentations
* Deliver software consulting and training in both group and individual settings
* Plan and coordinate software training sessions
* Deliver onboarding sessions to new clients
* Keep up to date with developments in software and training techniques
* Is solutions driven taking accountability for the successful outcome of all customer interactions.
* Always commercially minded, looks for innovative ways to increase value for Education Horizons and our clients.
* Provides process improvement ideas and suggestions that help improve the overall support and professional services delivered to clients.
* Provides support and guidance to Support Specialists to ensure efficient resolution of cases.
* Provides knowledge and assistance to other areas of the business to help achieve corporate objectives.
* Working within the EH/Tes Information Security Management System and policies
Skills
* Administration or expert-level usage of Synergetic
* Excellent knowledge of current software and technology
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Legislative and compliance requirements
* Third party products commonly used by Education Horizons’ clients
* A strongly customer-service focused work ethic
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey technical concepts to non- technical audiences
* Efficient time and priority management skills - the ability to juggle multiple competing activities and keep deadlines.
* Commercial acumen - ensuring accuracy of scopes, quotations and delivery
* Familiarity with service management processes and systems, particularly Salesforce Service Cloud and Atlassian.
Previous experience that would be beneficial in the role
* Experience of working in a school in an academic or administrative role
* Experience of working in a B2B SaaS support or professional services environment
