The Role:
In the Business Services team you'll play a crucial role in driving the success of the clients and the firm. You will be adept at nurturing business relationships and have the technical tax expertise and the passion to mentor and grow other members of the tax team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a diverse portfolio of clients in modern industries, providing high-level tax accounting and advisory services
- Responsibility for tax accounting engagements with complex scenarios & regular finance meetings with clients
- Work alongside with a team of over 5 experienced tax accountants and managers
- Review & provide detailed feedback on your team member's work
- Conduct some accounting, taxation and business advisory research and technical advice work for clients
- Some preparation work might be necessary for A level clients
- Develop and implement strategies to help manage risk & team development for the business services division
- Ensure exceptional client service standards across the team and maintain strong client relationships
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory change in tax & practice management
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in public practice, with at least 2 years at a supervising/managerial level
- Well-developed technical skills in tax and accounting for group structures
- Ideally top 100 CA firm and/or additional commercial exposure
- Advanced experience with Xero and app ecosystem
