About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
You will play a key role in supporting the finance function through invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment management while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and code supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Reconcile supplier statements, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
* Prepare and process weekly payment runs
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and respond to queries
* Perform bank statement and cashbook reconciliations and postings
* Manage purchase orders and ensure accurate three-way matching
* Assist with revenue invoicing and accounts receivable collections
* Review and analyse AP and AR ageing reports
* Ensure compliance with company policies and internal procedures
About You
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* High attention to detail and strong accuracy focus
* A proactive team player who enjoys working in a small, collaborative team
* Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
