Family Engagement Leader

This role focuses on building collaborative relationships between families, the education sector, and community support services to deliver ongoing family assistance in diverse communities.

The successful candidate will lead family engagement initiatives from early childhood to primary school age, providing expert input into decision-making processes to ensure optimal outcomes for children and their families.

* Establish and maintain positive connections with students, parents, and community organizations.
* Respond to individual needs of children and their families, providing support for transition to school and maintenance of engagement in learning.
* Work with vulnerable children from diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous youth, young persons with disabilities, and young persons in care.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. A strong understanding of child development and family dynamics is essential, along with the ability to provide expert guidance on family engagement strategies.

Additional requirements include:

* Ability to work effectively with Indigenous communities and cultural awareness
* Understanding of disability and inclusive practices
* Experience working with vulnerable populations
