**BAT is looking for a Business Communications Executive**

**Role Overview**:
Reporting to the Head of Business Communications - APMEA South, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering internal and external communication strategies for the APMEA South DRBU(Direct Reporting Business Units) and its End Markets. Your innovative approach will be key to achieving our communication objectives.
The DRBU of APMEA South consists of the End Markets (EM) Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Pacific, New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia. The scope of work for Business Communications covers external communications, internal communications, and corporate branding, and will work closely with Head of Sustainability - APMEA South for ESG communications.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in implementing DRBU communication strategies.
- Provide guidance and support for End Markets on communication strategy and plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align corporate narrative and communication strategies.
- Support DRBU Leadership Team with communication counsel and execution.
- Work with functional teams to drive above-market and End Market communication campaigns.
- Assist in managing global announcements and key messages.
- Develop external communication strategies for End Markets and provide guidance on media engagement.
- Support Head of Communications APMEA South with external communications counsel and execution.
- Develop Business Communications capability within EMs and Regulatory Campaign teams.
- Ensure relevant stakeholders are appropriately engaged on communication matters.
**Requirements**:
- 3-5 years of experience in communications, PR, Or Media preferably in FMCG or multinational environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful communication strategies.
- Innovative mindset with a balanced approach to risk and opportunity.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in media engagement to achieve business objectives.
