Our GemLife Health, Safety, Environment & Training (HSET) Team are seeking an experienced Advisor to support our new Logan Grove & Chambers Flat sites! Join us onsite and apply your safety expertise to build a proactive, compliant, and engaged safety culture from the ground up. As an integral part of the Health and Safety team, you will ensure that our safety policies, procedures, and practices are implemented on our projects. You will be working across both sites from the early stages of construction providing guidance and ongoing training on all matters related to health and safety. With over 500 houses across both sites and high-end commercial facilities, this is an exciting opportunity to grow with the site and be part of the project from start to finish! Your role will include: Providing expert HSET guidance and support across both sites Ensuring all projects comply with the WHS regulations and company safety policies. Conduct safety audits and proactively identify improvement opportunities. Carry out regular site walks with Project Leads to identify hazards and drive corrective actions. Review contractor Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to ensure strict compliance. Manage incidents and investigations, implementing preventative measures to safeguard the well-being of everyone on site. Deliver data reports on findings to operational teams and senior management to drive informed decisions and enhanced outcomes. What we're looking for: Experience in a HSET role within the construction industry - 3 years is desirable. Strong knowledge of WHS regulations and risk management from a construction perspective. Cert IV in WHS or equivalent qualifications are essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A collaborative person who can work with site staff sub-contractors across the sites.
