Job Summary: Leads operational execution for assigned APAC programs and functions in alignment with established corporate and business segment strategies. Responsible for operational performance, program delivery, and financial management within approved budgets. Partners with senior leadership to translate strategic objectives into effective operational plans, ensuring integration, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across the region. Operates with a high degree of autonomy within defined policies and delegated authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Participates with senior leadership in operational and business planning; translates approved strategies into executable operational plans across the APAC region.
* Accountable for operational and program performance, including cost, schedule, staffing, and resource management within approved budgets.
* Leads and coordinates cross‐functional activities including operations, engineering, program management, contracts, human resources, and customer support to drive efficiency and consistent execution.
* Provides oversight and direction to subordinate managers; develops leadership capability and ensures alignment to organizational priorities.
* Monitors financial performance, analyses variances, and implements corrective actions in alignment with financial targets and controls.
* Supports capture and growth initiatives by providing operational input, execution planning, and customer engagement support.
* Maintains frequent engagement with key customers to ensure contract performance, operational delivery, and customer satisfaction.
* Ensures compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements across the region.
* Identifies operational risks and escalates material issues outside approved plans; implements mitigation actions within delegated authority.
* Represents the organization with customers and industry stakeholders in support of operational objectives, partnering with senior leadership as appropriate.
* Accountable for managing multi‐department operational budgets and achieving financial targets within approved plans.
* Exercises independent judgment within established policies, objectives, and delegated authority; decisions primarily impact functional or multi‐department results.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Qualifications
* Four-year degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related major, plus a minimum of fifteen years related experience.
* MBA (preferred)
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
* Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex operational, financial, and contractual documents.
* Demonstrates excellent group presentation skills. Must have operations experience in managing multiple functions within one organization. Exposure to all the financial tools needed to manage the organization.
* Must have a strong strategic planning mindset, with demonstrated ability to translate business and operational strategies into long‐term functional and regional execution plans.
* Can take complex important problems and allow others to solve. Remains calm under all pressures and circumstances.
* Must have superior customer relations skills, based on respect with the ability to work with colleagues and customers alike to ensure customer retention.
* Experience managing operational budgets and financial performance within approved plans, with accountability for meeting cost and performance targets.
* Must have proven experience in being viewed as a leader and one who is trusted by corporate staff, subordinates, peers and other leaders in the organization.
* Must have proven ability to influence and motivate with a flexible and open attitude to be open to ideas from all sources
