**About the role**
We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Trade Centre based in Buranda QLD. This role will involve working closely with the Store Manager and focusing on the day-to-day operations of the store. You'll play a critical role in representing the Dulux brand whilst leading an enthusiastic team in the managers absence.
**Responsibilities**
- Maintaining and ordering stock
- Store opening and closing
- Banking procedures
- Displaying expert leadership within your team
- Strong customer service focus, particularly on stock availability, tinting and invoice accuracy
**Skills & Experience**
You'll be a leader who will leads by example and will drive engagement with your people through our values. You may come from a trade or operations background. You can demonstrate a level of physical ability to lift products of up to 20kg and work with our paint and other heavy goods in store at times. In addition, you will:
- Clear communication and the ability to build strong relationships with the team and customers
- A passion for customer service and developing new business
- A solid understanding of inventory management
- Ability to use a walkie stacker
