The Role
ABC News is seeking a proactive detail-oriented Production Lead to join our collaborative Regional Rural team and work closely with Editors and content makers providing tailored support and practical solutions that keep our newsrooms running smoothly and our audiences informed.
The Job
* Lead key administrative functions and drive process improvements for efficient operations.
* Coordinate crew resourcing and ensure out-of-hours coverage responding to late-notice roster gaps.
* Manage monthly and annual budgets providing accurate data for financial planning and strategic decisions.
* Oversee financial administration: budget tracking, raising POs, processing invoices, and supporting complex tasks like international travel bookings.
* Conduct risk assessments and manage health and safety administration.
* Coordinate onboarding, engagement and training for employees and contractors.
