A well-established, high-volume GP practice located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and drive the ongoing success of the centre. About the Role You will have full responsibility for the operational, financial, and people management functions of the practice. You will play a critical role in ensuring the practice runs efficiently, compliantly, and profitably while maintaining a positive culture and high standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities People Management Lead, mentor, and develop the reception and nursing teams Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff engagement Foster a collaborative, professional, and patient-focused workplace culture Operations & Financial Management Oversee day-to-day operations of a busy GP centre Manage budgets, billing processes, financial reporting, and cost control Drive financial performance and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency Accreditation, Quality & Compliance Lead accreditation processes and ongoing compliance with RACGP standards Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives Ensure policies, procedures, and systems are current and adhered to Health, Safety & Risk Management Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and best practice Manage risk, incidents, and safety protocols across the practice Relationship Management Build strong relationships with GPs, allied health providers, suppliers, and external stakeholders Act as the key point of contact between clinicians, staff, and management Continuous Improvement Drive continual development of systems, workflows, and service delivery Support strategic planning and future growth initiatives About You Proven experience as a Practice Manager (or senior practice leadership role) within a GP or healthcare setting Strong understanding of GP practice operations, billing, and accreditation Confident people leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills Commercially minded with the ability to manage budgets and financial performance Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities What’s on Offer Leadership role within a reputable and busy GP practice Supportive ownership and professional team environment Northern Beaches location with lifestyle appeal Competitive salary package commensurate with experience
