This role is a maternity leave backfill, however due to Aspire's significant growth trajectory and the number of new centres opening, there is strong potential for ongoing opportunities beyond the initial contract.
As Revenue and Funding Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in strengthening and scaling Aspire's revenue, family billing, and government funding operations across a rapidly expanding network of early learning centres.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transformation, systems improvement, and building strong operational foundations in a high volume, rules based, subsidised environment. You will help ensure funding and billing processes are accurate, compliant, audit ready, and increasingly automated to support Aspire's continued growth.
While early childhood education and care experience is desirable, it is not essential. We welcome candidates from other regulated and subsidy funded sectors who bring strong revenue assurance, systems thinking, and transformation capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Own end to end revenue, billing, and funding operations across family fees and government funding
* Ensure accurate and compliant claims across CCS, ACCS including ISS, Victorian Free Kinder Funding, ESK, and SRF
* Lead reconciliations, resolve variances, and deliver trusted revenue reporting
* Maintain strong data integrity across family, child, and enrolment records
* Build audit ready processes and proactive funding risk controls
* Drive automation and continuous improvement to reduce manual work and reprocessing
* Act as business owner for funding and billing systems including CCS platforms such as Xap or similar
* Lead and develop a high performing team and partner closely with centre and support leaders
What you will bring
* Proven experience in a high volume, rules based revenue or funding environment
* Strong working knowledge of CCS, ACCS or ISS, Victorian Free Kinder Funding, ESK, and SRF
* Demonstrated success improving processes, implementing systems, or leading operational transformation
* Experience leading teams and influencing non finance stakeholders
* Strong analytical capability with exceptional attention to detail
* A systems minded, improvement focused approach
Desirable experience
* Early childhood education and care experience is desirable but not mandatory
* Experience with Xap or similar CCS billing platforms
* Experience managing complex funding programs or grants
* Background in regulated sectors such as NDIS, health, aged care, education, insurance, utilities, or subscription based services
