About This Opportunity
The Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in defining and maintaining the organisation's data and integration architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. They oversee design for data platforms, APIs, and integrations, set standards and governance, and mentor teams to deliver cohesive, data‐driven solutions. The role also drives innovation by adopting emerging technologies and promoting continuous improvement across data and integration practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Define, design, and lead enterprise data and integration architecture, ensuring alignment with business strategy, enterprise architecture standards, and data governance frameworks.
* Provide solution design leadership and architectural oversight for data platforms, APIs, and integration solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
* Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to translate business objectives into fit‐for‐purpose architectural solutions, offering expert guidance across the full delivery lifecycle and agile ways of working.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and enterprise data models across conceptual, logical, and physical layers to enable consistent, scalable, and well‐integrated data‐driven solutions.
* Establish and enforce data and integration standards, patterns, and guardrails, with accountability for architectural assurance, risk management, technical debt, and solution compliance.
* Shape and contribute to the data and integration technology roadmap, driving platform modernisation, capability uplift, vendor evaluations, and the adoption of emerging technologies.

You Will Demonstrate
* Qualifications equivalent to a postgraduate degree in IT or related field, or extensive relevant experience.
* Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and operating complex integration solutions in large enterprises.
* Experience applying agile project management methodologies to deliver outcomes.
* Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and managing teams in dynamic environments.
* Advanced problem‐solving and strategic thinking abilities to drive innovative solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective stakeholder relationships.
