About the Role:
We are searching for a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join an experienced community NDIS occupational therapy team in beautiful Launceston, Tasmania.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate, motivated, and driven to provide exceptional service to community-based participants. We welcome applications from new graduates through to experienced senior therapists, especially those interested in stepping into a team leader role. Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Assessment and prescription of assistive equipment
- Assessment and planning of home modifications
- Provision of therapy to NDIS participants
- Provision of comprehensive functional and environmental assessments
- Comprehensive written reports
- Tailored exercise therapy and promotion
- Therapy supports including fine motor skills, sensory profiling, and assistance with daily living skills
- Housing assessments and home modifications
- Clear, frequent, and open communication between support coordinators, case managers, and families

About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Full or Limited AHPRA registration
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Sponsorship available for internationally experienced OTs (3 years minimum)
- Willingness to take on new opportunities and exciting challenges
- Motivation to learn and contribute new ideas to promote best practice therapy
- Empathy towards individuals with a disability and elderly individuals
- Inspiration to make a real difference in someone's life
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work autonomously and develop strong professional relationships
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation
- Current Driver's License and willingness to drive
- Active Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Must have the right to work in Australia
