About the Role

This role is pretty cool. If you have experience in the mining sector and are looking to broaden your learning about how to bring mining and technology together, then this is the role for you. You get to pair your knowledge with an amazing technical team that can bring this intersection to life. Cyient Mining is one of eight business units spanning Aviation, Microprocesses, and Healthcare. We work as a collective team, so you will grow, learn, and gain new experience as you support your mining clients. Commercial roles are like roller coasters, and you have a team of great people around you to help manage the slow, fast and occasionally scary times. About You

* A successful Commercial Director is committed to and aligned with your client's outcomes and success. Your work must be relevant and help your clients shift the needle on safety and productivity.
* You have an engaging style that is relatable across all levels of a mining company, and you need a strong understanding of the mining value chain and where digital technology can create sustainable value.
* You must be able to lead autonomously as you build your client portfolio and align with the Global Mining Leadership growth aspirations. You will need a thirst for travel and for seeing different parts of the world as you build your client portfolio and stay close to their success.
* Lastly, you need a can‐do attitude. Directors are amazing problem solvers and lateral thinkers. If you need to follow a set path, this role is not for you. I am looking for team members who can push boundaries, inspire, create real connections, and are willing to tackle some wicked opportunities.

Job Description

* Delivering bottom-line results for clients through the sustainable deployment of Cyient solutions and services
* Developing relationships with clients through humility, relatability, and relevance to their priorities and objectives
* Building out opportunity roadmaps with clients and partnering with the Cyient delivery team to ensure the work is resourced and delivered
* Helping translate Cyient service delivery models (centres of excellence, etc.) into fit‐for‐purpose deployments for clients
* Own the end‐to‐end commercial cycle from lead through to transition to the delivery and execution team
* Respond to client requests for proposals that align with our services and offerings
* Integrating best practices from Cyient and the Mining Team into your accounts to improve the quality of deployments and outcomes
* Build integrated account plans and own execution against these plans
* Work across global time zones and with global teams to deliver first‐class outcomes with first‐class people.

Skills

Relationship building & communication

* Personable and able to create mutually beneficial relationships quickly
* Strong networking, verbal and written communication ability
* Work with a range of cultures and background both on client and Cyient side

Commercial & value focus

* Strong commercial acumen in sales, contracts, and mining productivity
* Experience in selling services and go‐to‐market plans
* Being able to articulate how value is generated across the mining value chain (exploration, extraction, logistics and shipping)
* Clearly articulate value cases for client utilising our Cyient offerings
* Forecast and budget for resources needed to deliver the value outcomes
* Influence internal delivery teams to help co‐create client account plans
* Write compelling business cases and proposals for clients
* Collaborative style and approach
* Driven and focused on achieving goals and stretch targets
* Resilient and a Chumbawumba attitude – "I get knocked down but I get up again"
* Knowledge of Asset Management, Digital and Technology programs
